The Aussie Skate program is a nationally recognised
Learn-to-Skate Program. Many recreational skaters take their first lessons through a rink
or State Association skating school group-lesson situation utilising the Aussie Skate
teaching and testing program, teaching the fundamentals of skating to beginners.
The program takes skaters through a series of test levels
from beginner through to advanced and teaches skills that can be used for either general
skating, figure skating, speed skating or ice hockey. Competitions both intra-rink
and inter-rink are held on regular basis, as well as the yearly national Aussie Skate
competition.
Contact your local rink to enquire on when the next Aussie Skate Classes are
to begin, classes are held all year round
