Figure skating is one of the most popular sports in the world today. In Australia more than one and a half million people lace up skates every year. The inclusive programs Ice Skating Australia offer, encourage people to become involved and stay involved for life

Skaters progress at their own rate and coaches make sessions lively using a wide variety of activities that create a fun environment and promote learning. Aussie Skate^TM is the feeder program to all other Australian skating programs, from club competition to National championships and along the Olympic pathway. Aussie Skate^TM is also the feeder program in to Ice Hockey and Speed Skating .

Aussie Skate^TM is the national learn-to-skate program, and an initiative of Ice Skating Australia. It is a fun, challenging and rewarding program for all ages and abilities.

2010 National Championships

Breaking News

Ice Skating Australia is proud to announce that its nominated candidate to the ISU (International Skating Union) Singles and Pair Skating Technical Committee, Susan Lynch, has been successfully elected; her term of office is for 4 years until the 2014 ISU Congress. ISA congratulates Susan on this wonderful achievement.

The 2010 Australian Figure Skating Championships will be held at the Icehouse in Melbourne’s Docklands from Thursday, November 25 – Thursday, December 2. Further information can be found in ISA Communication 0024 here.

Synchronized Skating Development Camp will be held on 16, 17 & 18 August at IceWorld Boondall, Brisbane. Camp information and registration forms are coming soon.
