Australian Ladies Champion Cheltzie Lee has been announced as the latest and final addition to the Australian Olympic team for the Vancouver Winter Olympics.  The 16 year old from St. Andrews, Sydney, who's selection onto the Olympic team was confirmed by AOC Chef de Mission Ian Chesterman on February 1st, 2010, will represent Australia in Ladies Figure Skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Ice Skating Australia congratulates Cheltzie Lee and coach Kylie Fennell and wish them every success as they continue to represent Australia with pride and the support of their skating community

The Board of Ice Skating Australia, on behalf of the Australian figure skating community, pays tribute to Past ISA President Geoffrey Taylor, who passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 11th.  Mr Geoff Taylor, a respected figure skating judge and leader of Australian figure skating in the 1970’s and 80’s had a long history and love of his sport, along with his wife, Shirley who was a World and  Olympic judge.  The Australian figure skating community sends its condolences to our current President, Cathy Taylor, on the loss of her father
